I identify as an affirmative, client-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive therapist who tailors therapy to meet the client needs. I hold a social-justice and anti-racism framework inside and outside of my therapy work. How do I determine which tier I am in? How much will I be paying for therapy?
The following rates are based on an anti-oppressive rate structure (Adapted from the Anti-Oppression resource & training alliance). Use this questionnaire to determine your rate structure. This is a very personal consideration and unique to you and your circumstances.
Are you and your family homeowners or landowners? (This question does not apply to those who are Native or Indigenous)
Have you attended private education institutions or do you have an advanced degree?
Are you able to make minimum payments on bills or credit cards?
Have you been able to easily access and afford health insurance for yourself and your family members?
Do you have zero to no debt and/or do you have disposable income?
Do you have a safety net composed of “financially stable” or wealthy family and friends?
Do you have U.S. Citizenship?
Does your income only support you, and not other loved ones?

Out of Network Benefits
I currently do not accept insurance directly as I am an an out of pocket provider. I use Thrizer that helps you use your out-of-network benefits automatically when paying for your sessions. When charged for the session, I can automatically submit OON (out of network) claims for you (no more superbills!), help you offload all the insurance stress onto them, and allow you to just pay your co-insurance for sessions once you meet your deductible (even if Thrizer is still waiting for reimbursement). This way, you can afford therapy upfront rather than go through the hassles of submitting superbills and waiting months for insurance to reimburse you. It works like a normal payment application for Stripe. You will have your payment method connected on there for me to charge after our appointments.
